Waxes -

Our burn our cycles cleanly eliminate all normal carved, printed, or shot waxes and plastics commonly used in the jewelry industry.

Resins -
|
Resin-based pieces such as produced by the ENVISIONTEC process cause problems with both our platinum and gold investments. Successfully casting these pieces requires a special process or molding the wax (using a liquid mold) and casting a shot model.

Other -
|
We have successfully burned out rubber and plastic toys, nylon and even plant pieces. If it is hydrocarbon-based and we can attach a sprue to it, we can probably burn it out. If we' re not sure, we put it on a separate tree so as to not contaminate other work.
